Textile Production Manager

Location: Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Textile Production Manager to oversee day-to-day production and factory coordination for our textile retail operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with fabrics, managing production processes, coordinating with karigars (artisans/vendors), and ensuring timely execution of customer orders while maintaining quality standards.
This role requires someone who is organised, trustworthy, and capable of handling both production floor operations and basic administrative documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily production activities and ensure smooth workflow.
Coordinate fabric cutting, folding, finishing, and dispatch activities.
Monitor production timelines to ensure orders are completed on schedule.
Maintain production quality and ensure adherence to company standards..
Supervise blue-collar workforce and allocate work effectively.
Monitor productivity and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Build strong relationships with vendors while maintaining accountability.
Prepare and maintain Job Work Sign-Offs.
Manage Company Registers and production records.
Generate and maintain Challans and Challan Copies.
Ensure proper documentation for inward and outward material movement.
Monitor warehouse inventory and stock movement.
Coordinate receipt, storage, and dispatch of fabrics and finished products.
Help reduce wastage and maintain inventory accuracy.
Assist in order planning and material availability.
Handle various types of fabrics and understand their production requirements.
Coordinate dyeing, printing, embroidery, lace work, and other fabric processing activities.
Identify basic quality issues in fabrics before production.
Track daily production KPIs.
Monitor order completion rates, delays, wastage, and productivity.
Support management with production updates and reporting.
Assist in monitoring production costs.
Coordinate material requirements to avoid production delays.
Ensure customer orders are executed efficiently within budget.
Required Qualifications
Minimum Class XII Pass.
1–5 years of experience in textile production, garment manufacturing, or fabric processing.
Experience working in textile factories, workshops, or production environments.
Basic understanding of production workflows and warehouse operations.
Good knowledge of fabrics and textile production.
Understanding of:
Dyeing
Printing
Embroidery
Lace work
Fabric cutting and folding
Vendor and workforce management skills.
Basic computer literacy and digital record-keeping.
Ability to maintain production documentation accurately.
Basic English communication skills.
Good numerical and organisational skills.
