Role Description The Executive – Treasury (Vendor Payments, TDS & Tax Payments) is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The role involves managing vendor payments, including verification of invoices, payment scheduling, and ensuring adherence to company policies and timelines. The executive is responsible for handling TDS calculations, reconciliations, and timely TDS remittances, as well as coordinating tax payments in line with statutory requirements. Daily tasks include monitoring cash flows, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities related to treasury, preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, and collaborating with finance, accounting, and operations teams to resolve payment and tax-related queries. The role also requires maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and contributing to process improvement in treasury operations.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting principles relevant to treasury, vendor payments, and taxation.
Ability to interpret and prepare Financial Statements and support Financial Reporting activities.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills to review payment data, identify discrepancies, and ensure accuracy in TDS and tax computations.
Proficiency in using financial and ERP systems for processing payments, reconciliations, and reporting.
Knowledge of Indian taxation regulations, including TDS, GST, and other statutory payments.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter) are an advantage.
Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to work with tight deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
