Job Description (JD): Software Project Manager
Location: Kolkata

Role Summary
Managed 4–5 concurrent Agile (Scrum) software projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets. Led sprint ceremonies, release planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and governance while maintaining compliance with CMMI Level 5 and ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities
Directed end-to-end delivery of multiple interrelated software projects.
Facilitated Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Managed project plans, release roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, WBS, baselines, and critical paths using MS Project.
Oversaw budget tracking, forecasting, resource planning, and cost control.
Maintained project governance through status reporting, RAID logs, steering committee reviews, and stakeholder management.
Identified and mitigated delivery, technical, operational, and compliance risks.
Collaborated with Product Owners, Engineering, QA, Architects, DevOps, vendors, and external partners to ensure timely delivery.
Administered Azure DevOps Boards, Backlogs, Sprints, Dashboards, Repos, and traceability processes.
Enforced Git best practices including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and release versioning.
Tracked delivery performance using Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, burnup, lead time, and cycle time.
Ensured release readiness, quality standards, audit readiness, and SDLC compliance.
