About the role
We are looking for a Senior Copywriter who can turn ideas into words people remember.
At Decorpot we are building homes, and we are building a group of brands people want to listen to, engage with and be part of. You will write across all of them: Decorpot for interiors, FurnitureOne for furniture, and India Lam for laminates. Three brands, three audiences, three distinct voices, one team.
This is a role for someone who enjoys the range. One week you are cracking a campaign idea. The next you are writing a hoarding, a reel script, a brochure and a landing page. If that sounds like a good week to you, read on.
What we need (essential)
3 to 5 years minimum in a creative agency. This is non negotiable. We want someone trained in agency craft, briefs, pitching and turnaround.
5 to 7 years of total copywriting experience.
Brand side experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
A strong portfolio showing range, originality, conceptual thinking and campaign work.
Strong conceptual thinking. You should be able to build the idea, not just write around one.
Ability to write across social, digital, campaigns, video, websites and offline media.
A strong command of English with a natural, sharp, conversational style.
Ability to read an audience, find the insight and turn it into a clear idea.
Ability to run multiple projects at once and work closely with designers, marketers and creative teams.
A note on fit
We are not looking for SEO writers, content writers or keyword led writers. This is a creative copywriting role. If your work is built around search rankings and word counts rather than ideas and craft, this is not the right role for you.
What you will work on
Big ideas and campaigns. Turn consumer insight into campaign ideas, hooks and messaging that stick.
Brand communication. Build distinctive messaging for Decorpot, FurnitureOne and [laminate brand], and keep each voice clear and separate.
Social media. Hooks, captions, carousels, reels and social first ideas that make people stop.
Digital and paid ads. Performance focused copy for Meta, Google and other channels.
Video and content series. Scripts for brand films, ads, testimonials, educational content and recurring series.
Influencer communication. Briefs, talking points and scripts that give creators direction while keeping them sounding like themselves.
Website and landing pages. Simplify what we offer into copy that informs, engages and drives enquiries.
Experience centre communication. Bring the brand voice into our physical spaces through displays, signage and customer facing communication.
Sales and marketing collateral. Brochures, booklets and sales content that carry our products, services and USPs.
Offline and OOH. Hoardings, print, standees and in store communication
