Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Audit Assistant role based in Mumbai. The Audit Assistant will support audit engagements by assisting in planning, execution, and documentation of financial and compliance audits. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, preparing working papers, supporting the preparation of audit reports, and performing tests of controls and substantive procedures. The role involves coordinating with senior team members, gathering and analyzing financial data, ensuring adherence to regulatory and firm standards, and maintaining organized audit files. The Audit Assistant will also help identify process improvements and contribute to client communication as required.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Statements and Finance, with the ability to understand and interpret corporate financial information.
Candidates should possess practical experience or knowledge in Financial Audits and Audit Reports, including basic audit procedures and documentation.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, with attention to detail and the ability to identify variances and potential risks.
Relevant academic background such as a degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications (CA, CMA, or pursuing) are an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other office tools, familiarity with accounting or ERP software, and comfort working with large data sets.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work in a team, and readiness to meet deadlines in a structured, on-site environment.
High level of integrity, commitment to confidentiality, and willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic audit and advisory practice.
