Role Description As an Insurance Advisor / Insurance Consultant intern at Bajaj Life, you will support customers in understanding life insurance products and selecting plans aligned with their financial goals and protection needs. You will participate in virtual consultations, explain policy features and benefits, assist with basic financial needs analysis, and guide customers through application and documentation processes. The role includes responding to customer queries, coordinating with internal teams for issue resolution, and maintaining accurate records of interactions in line with compliance standards. You will also help in lead follow-up, contribute to customer education through digital channels, and gain exposure to insurance advisory best practices. This is a remote internship role, designed to provide hands-on experience in insurance consulting and customer engagement.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge and interest in Insurance and Finance, with the ability to understand life insurance products and basic financial planning concepts.
Candidates should possess skills in Consulting, including needs assessment, solution recommendation, and ethical advisory practices focused on customer interests.
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service capabilities, demonstrating empathy, responsiveness, and a commitment to high-quality support.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication and the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
Additional beneficial qualifications include comfort working in a remote, digital environment; proficiency with online communication tools; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field is preferred, along with a willingness to learn about regulatory and compliance requirements in the insurance sector.
