Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will work full time in a remote capacity to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions that enhance India LawShield’s legal assistance platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and optimizing machine learning models, implementing pattern recognition and neural network architectures, and developing NLP-powered features for tasks such as document analysis and legal query interpretation. The role involves collaborating with legal experts, product managers, and software engineers to translate business and legal requirements into scalable technical solutions. The AI Engineer will also be responsible for evaluating model performance, improving accuracy and reliability, integrating AI services into existing systems, and ensuring data security and compliance in all AI-related workflows.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and modern programming languages (such as Python, Java, or C++).
Hands-on experience with Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, including model design, training, validation, and deployment using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Practical expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), especially in building and integrating text classification, information extraction, and conversational AI solutions.
Familiarity with machine learning pipelines, MLOps practices, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and version control tools such as Git.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on model explainability and responsible AI practices.
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field; experience in legal-tech or fintech domains is an advantage.
