Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Professor role based in Bengaluru. The Professor will design and deliver lectures, seminars, and clinical instruction in nursing and related health sciences, ensuring alignment with regulatory and accreditation standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, assessing student performance, supervising clinical placements, mentoring students, and providing academic advising. The role also involves contributing to curriculum review, participating in faculty meetings and committees, engaging in scholarly activities or research, and supporting institutional quality improvement initiatives. The Professor is expected to foster an inclusive learning environment that promotes professional ethics, critical thinking, and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
Advanced academic qualifications in Nursing (Master’s degree in Nursing required; PhD or equivalent doctoral degree preferred).
Valid nursing registration/license as per applicable regulatory body requirements.
Demonstrated experience in teaching nursing or health sciences at the collegiate level, including classroom and clinical instruction.
Strong knowledge of current nursing practices, evidence-based care, and relevant healthcare regulations.
Ability to design curricula, develop course materials, and use diverse teaching methodologies and educational technologies.
Effective communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills, with a commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory education.
Experience in academic research, publication, or scholarly activities is highly beneficial.
Capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues, clinical partners, and administrative staff, and to contribute to institutional committees and initiatives.
