Sales Manager

As a Sales Development Manager at 9 CORK, you will drive business growth across India by managing incoming leads, generating new B2B sales opportunities, and delivering an exceptional in-person experience for clients visiting our Noida display centre. Operating from our Noida headquarters, you will take full ownership of the sales pipeline for our sustainable cork solutions—Premium wall coverings, and eco-friendly gifting solutions. You will also represent 9 CORK on-site at major pan-India B2B trade exhibitions, converting qualified interactions into long-term accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Display Centre & Client Hosting: Warmly welcome and assist B2B clients, designers, and corporate visitors visiting our Noida display centre; walk them through product samples, demonstrate eco-friendly cork applications, and convert walk-ins into qualified opportunities.
Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Proactively identify, prospect, and qualify new B2B clients across India through cold outreach, market research, and targeted industry networking.
Inbound Lead Conversion: Promptly respond to, qualify, and nurture incoming digital, phone, and referral leads to close sales opportunities.
Exhibition & Event Presence: Travel with leadership to represent 9 CORK at major pan-India B2B trade exhibitions; manage booth traffic, conduct live product demonstrations, and capture high-value leads.
Client Consultation & Commercials: Understand customized cork product requirements, prepare tailored commercial quotes, negotiate pricing, and close deals.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal manufacturing, logistics, and design teams to ensure accurate custom order fulfillment and reliable on-time delivery.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 3–6 years of hands-on experience in B2B sales development or field sales, preferably within eco-friendly products, interior materials, or manufacturing sectors.
Core Competencies:
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proven track record in outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and managing an end-to-end sales pipeline.
In-Person Client Handling: Demonstrated experience in hosting corporate clients, architects, designers, or walk-in visitors in a showroom or display centre environment.
Exhibition Sales: Experience representing brands at industrial B2B trade shows and converting event leads into revenue.
Mobility & Location: Based in or willing to commute daily to Noida, with flexibility to travel pan-India for client visits and trade exhibitions.
Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills (English and Hindi); familiarity with CRM software and pipeline tracking tools.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
