About the role

Position: Junior Collection Executive (1 + year experience)
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
Workdays: 6 days a week. Can take holidays on any weekday.
Shift Timing: 6PM - 3:00 AM IST
compensation: 25k per month + incentives.
Job Summary:
The Collection Executive is responsible for managing and recovering outstanding debts from clients, customers, or vendors in a timely and professional manner. This role ensures healthy cash flow for the organization by reducing delinquent accounts, maintaining accurate records, and fostering positive customer relationships while adhering to company policies and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Contact customers through phone calls, emails, and visits to follow up on overdue payments.
2. Maintain records of all collection activities and update customer payment status regularly.
3. Negotiate repayment plans with customers while ensuring compliance with company policies.
4. Monitor assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts and potential payment risks.
5. Resolve customer queries and disputes regarding invoices, payment terms, or account balances.
6. Escalate accounts requiring legal or further action to the Collections Manager.
7. Collaborate with the finance and sales teams to reconcile accounts and verify customer records.
8. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collections performance.
1. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal credit policies.
2. Readiness to pursue additional management responsibilities under Gehi & Associates.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (OND/HND may be considered with relevant experience).
2. 1 plus years of experience
3. Proven experience with Quick books
4. Strong negotiation and communication skills (verbal and written).
5. Ability to manage stress and handle difficult conversations professionally.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook.
