Role Description This is a full-time Cloud Reliability Engineer role based in Bengaluru, offered in a hybrid model that combines on-site work with some work-from-home flexibility. The Cloud Reliability Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems and services, including monitoring infrastructure, responding to incidents, and implementing automation to prevent recurring issues. Daily responsibilities include designing and improving observability, optimizing cloud resource usage, managing deployments, and collaborating with development and security teams to build resilient architectures. The role also involves implementing best practices for backup, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and change management, while contributing to continuous improvement of reliability processes and tooling. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure cloud environments remain secure, compliant, and aligned with business goals.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong cloud platform skills, such as experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including compute, storage, networking, and managed services.
Candidates should possess skills in reliability engineering and SRE practices, including monitoring, alerting, incident response, problem management, and capacity planning.
Candidates should possess skills in automation and infrastructure-as-code, using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar technologies.
Candidates should possess skills in CI/CD and DevOps tooling, including pipelines, configuration management, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Candidates should possess skills in observability and logging, using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, or equivalent monitoring solutions.
Candidates should possess skills in security and compliance for cloud environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability remediation.
Candidates should possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, and scripting capabilities (e.g., Python, Bash) for diagnosing and resolving complex system issues.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
