About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Company Description PAWZZ is an animal-welfare organisation working across rescue, medical care, feeding and community initiatives. What started as hands-on work with animals is now evolving into a larger ecosystem focused on improving how people discover, access and support animal and pet care.
We’re building across three connected layers:
PAWZZ Foundation — our on-ground work across rescue, medical cases, feeding and animal welfare.
Founder & Community — building awareness and conversations around animal welfare, pet care and the realities of creating change.
Practo for Animals — a technology-enabled platform designed to make reliable pet-care and animal-care services easier to discover, evaluate and access.
Role Description The Freelance Videographer will play a central role in visually documenting Pawzz Foundation’s rescue activities, medical interventions, sterilization drives, and adoption stories. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning shoots, capturing high-quality video footage on-site in Gurugram, coordinating with the team to cover events and campaigns, and delivering edited video content suitable for social media and digital platforms. The videographer will be expected to collaborate closely with the communications and social media teams to develop compelling visual narratives that support awareness and fundraising initiatives. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Gurugram, with a mix of on-site work at shelters, field locations, and limited work-from-home for editing and post-production tasks.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Video Production, including planning, shooting, and post-production workflows.
Proficiency in Camera Operation and use of professional Camera equipment to capture high-quality footage.
Experience with Lighting setup and Shooting Video in varied indoor and outdoor environments.
Ability to edit video content using industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
Understanding of social media formats and best practices for video content on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
Demonstrated ability to work on location, sometimes in challenging environments, with sensitivity toward animals and rescue operations.
Strong storytelling skills, with an eye for impactful visuals that align with Pawzz Foundation’s mission and campaigns.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Prior experience in nonprofit, animal welfare, or documentary-style videography is an advantage.
Relevant education or training in film, media, communications, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience is also valued.
This is a freelance/part-time opportunity, not a full-time position. Compensation will depend on experience, scope and availability.
You’ll work directly with the Founder and have significant creative ownership over the content we build.
