Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Partner to join our team, responsible for identifying and assessing investment opportunities in innovative startups. In this role, you will leverage your extensive network and investment acumen to drive strategic partnerships and foster growth within our portfolio companies.
Responsibilities:
Fundraising for new investment vehicles from institutional, UHNIs, HNIs and Family Offices.
Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities across various sectors, with a focus on emerging technologies and market trend
Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, and competitive landscape assessments
Develop investment theses and present findings to the investment committee, articulating the strategic rationale for potential investments
Build and maintain relationships with founders, industry experts, and co-investors to enhance deal flow and collaboration
Provide ongoing support and guidance to portfolio companies, assisting in strategic planning, operational improvements, and fundraising efforts
Lead negotiations on investment terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with firm objectives and risk tolerance
Contribute to the overall strategy and vision of the Venture Capital team, including identifying new areas of focus and investment themes
Managing initiatives and proprietary properties such as Demo Days & ProStar for supporting growth of portfolio companies.
Required:
10+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment banking, with a proven track record of successful investments
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate investment opportunities to diverse stakeholders
Robust network within the startup ecosystem, including founders, industry leaders, and co-investors
Strong network of investors & fundraising experience.
Experience in a generalist role.
Advanced degree in finance, business, or a related field. MBA from a Tier I university.
Prior experience in a leadership role within a venture capital firm or startup
Technical Skills and knowledge of relevant technologies
Deep understanding of financial modelling and valuation techniques
Familiarity with investment analysis software and tools
Proficiency in market research methodologies and competitive analysis
