Job Title: Testing & Commissioning Engineer – Building Management Systems (BMS)

Experience: 4-8 years of experience in BMS Engineering, Testing & Commissioning
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to support the design, engineering, testing, and commissioning of Building Management Systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with BMS/SCADA systems, communication protocols, and site commissioning activities, along with the ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, development, testing, and commissioning of Building Automation / BMS systems
Engineering and programming of BMS, SCADA, PLC, and DDC systems
Development of BMS/SCADA/HMI graphic screens
Perform I/O loop checks, functional testing, and system validation
Ensure proper integration using BACnet, Modbus, OPC protocols (IP, Ethernet, MS/TP)
Execute site commissioning activities and resolve technical issues during startup
Provide technical support to clients during and after project handover
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and quality delivery
Stay updated with current trends in automation and instrumentation and implement modern control architectures
Prepare commissioning reports, test documents, and as-built documentation
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong experience in BMS Engineering, Testing & Commissioning
Hands-on knowledge of SCADA, PLC, DDC systems
Good understanding of BACnet, Modbus, OPC communication protocols
Experience in BMS graphics and HMI development
Basic knowledge of SQL database programming
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently at site and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering from an accredited college or university
4-8 years of experience in BMS Engineering, Testing & Commissioning
