JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Executive Assistant
Reporting To: Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Dy. CEO)
Location: Gurgaon
Experience: Minimum 5 years preferred
Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
M.Tech/M.E. in Geotechnical Engineering will be highly advantageous.
MBA in Finance, Strategy, Operations or General Management will be an added advantage.
Role Overview
The Executive Assistant to the Dy. CEO will provide high-level executive, technical, analytical and coordination support to the Dy. CEO and assist in driving strategic and operational priorities across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary coordination interface for the Dy. CEO with internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare meeting agendas, briefing notes, presentations and executive summaries.
Track and follow up on key decisions, action points and commitments.
Coordinate with functional heads to obtain timely information and status updates.
Monitor progress of critical projects, assignments and strategic initiatives.
Analyse project reports, technical submissions, financial data and performance indicators.
Benchmark relevant national and international practices, standards and technologies.
Support the Dy. CEO during client, consultant, contractor and government meetings. Coordinate with external agencies, consultants, institutions and government authorities as required.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Dy. CEO from time to time.
Desired Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Proficient in written and verbal English communication.
Proficient in preparing executive-level reports and presentations.
Strong project coordination and follow-up skills.
Ability to understand technical documentation.
Understanding of geotechnical engineering, slope stabilisation, foundations or related areas will be advantageous.
Knowledge of contracts, tenders and procurement processes will be an advantage.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel for meetings, project reviews and official assignments when required.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in infrastructure, roads/highways, geotechnical engineering, construction, consultancy or EPC organisations preferred.
Candidates with experience supporting CXO/CEO/Director-level executives preferred.
Exposure to government/PSU, large infrastructure or multidisciplinary projects is desirable.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical understanding with business acumen, executive communication skills and the ability to independently drive follow-ups and convert management decisions into measurable actions.
