Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kottayam. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and policy implementation. The Human Resources Manager will develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards, and manage employee records and HR documentation. Daily tasks include coordinating hiring processes, conducting interviews, organizing training and development programs, addressing employee concerns, and supporting leadership with workforce planning and organizational development. The role also involves handling payroll inputs, benefits administration coordination, and promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, compliance requirements, and best practices in organizational development.
Proficiency in HRIS or HR management systems, documentation, and data handling with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust across teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently on-site, and collaborate effectively with leadership and staff.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience as an HR Manager or in a senior HR role, preferably in financial services or a related industry, is highly beneficial.
