Position Title - Legal Counsel
Key Responsibilities
Legal Support for the business development function:
M&A transactions- Co-ordinating for due diligence with various stakeholder including target and external counsels, review of the documentation, MIS along with legal counsel
Provide legal advice to business teams on various operational and excise related matters, proactively implement the aligned risk mitigation actions in cross-collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Dispute management- preparing responses to notices received from third-parties, statutory authorities, administrative proceedings etc., to avoid adverse impact on business continuity, or reputation;
Champion anti-trust and IPR related matters; assist in conducting periodic trainings and sensitization programmes to employees.
legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the business; Maintenance of various MIS, global platforms and periodic updating and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
LL.B./LL.M. from a recognized university;
1-2 years of post-qualification experience in a reputed law firm and/ or in-house legal department.
Ability to work under limited supervision in an agile manner in regulated sector to achieve business goals.

Strong knowledge of contract law, competition law, intellectual property rights.
Good drafting, research, and communication skills.
