Role Description The Project Architect role at Green Home Properties is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The Project Architect will lead architectural design and documentation for residential and mixed-use projects, translating client requirements into functional and sustainable design solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing concepts and detailed drawings, coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) models, preparing and reviewing submittals, and ensuring designs comply with local codes and regulatory standards. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams, consultants, and contractors, overseeing design intent through all project phases from schematic design to construction administration. The Project Architect will also support LEED and other sustainability objectives, participate in client presentations, and help manage schedules and deliverables to keep projects on time and within scope.
Qualifications
Strong architectural design and technical skills, with proficiency in Architecture fundamentals and building systems.
Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows for design coordination and documentation.
Ability to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, demonstrating solid Project Management capabilities.
Knowledge of sustainability frameworks such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and interest in green building practices.
Experience preparing, reviewing, and coordinating Submittals and construction documents with consultants and contractors.
Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or progress toward licensure is an advantage.
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Experience in real estate development or interior design coordination is beneficial.
