Role Overview
As a Global Market Analyst Intern at PipRaisers, you'll work closely with our strategy and research team to interpret macroeconomic signals, analyze intermarket dynamics, and identify tradeable global trends. From daily market updates to institutional-style research notes, you’ll develop the mindset and skills of a global strategist.
Key Responsibilities
1. Track macroeconomic events, central bank moves, and geopolitical developments (FOMC, ECB, CPI, GDP, NFP)
2. Analyse inter-asset relationships—USD vs. Gold, Oil, Crypto, and Risk-on/Risk-off sentiment shifts
3. Contribute to daily/weekly market outlooks, strategy notes, and trading calendars
4. Perform sentiment tracking using heatmaps, positioning data, and risk metrics
5. Research major FX pairs, commodity contracts, and crypto pairs from a macro perspective
6. Assist in backtesting macro-based trade ideas using historical data
7. Build concise, data-rich presentation decks and visual summaries for team briefings and client insights
Who Should Apply?
1. Students or graduates in Finance, Economics, International Business, or MBA (Finance)
2. Passion for global macroeconomics, central bank policy, and cross-asset trading
3. Strong grasp of economic data, market narratives, and trend interpretation
4. Experience with TradingView, economic calendars, Investing.com, or Bloomberg tools
5. Skill in transforming complex data into simplified, actionable analysis
6. Knowledge of FX, commodities, and crypto instruments is highly preferred
