Role Description The Pre / Post Sales Support Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This position involves providing technical guidance to customers and the sales team before and after the sale, including understanding client requirements, preparing solution proposals, and supporting product demonstrations. The engineer will manage technical support tickets, troubleshoot hardware and networking issues, and coordinate with internal engineering teams to resolve complex problems. Daily tasks include responding to customer queries, ensuring timely and accurate installation and configuration support, maintaining detailed documentation of customer interactions, and contributing to sales operations by preparing technical materials and training resources. The role also requires building strong customer relationships, gathering feedback to improve products and services, and supporting continuous service quality improvement.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to diagnose issues, interpret technical requirements, and propose effective solutions.
Hands-on Technical Support experience with networking devices or industrial automation systems.
Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills for clear explanations, user guidance, and relationship building.
Experience in Sales Operations, including pre-sales consulting, proposal preparation, and post-sales follow-up.
Degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
Solid understanding of networking concepts (Ethernet, RF, LTE) and industrial communication protocols is highly beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple customer engagements.
Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and use of CRM or support ticketing tools is an advantage.
