Our client, is a leading electrical and power infrastructure solutions company, looking to engage with an experienced Business Development Consultant - Data Centre.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the Data Centre business development strategy.
Build relationships with hyperscalers, Data Centre developers, EPC contractors, electrical consultants, and design consultants.
Drive transformer approvals and inclusion in Approved Vendor Lists (AVL) and preferred supplier lists.
Engage with consultants and technical teams during early project planning to influence product specifications.
Understand customer technical requirements and coordinate with Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and Project teams.
Represent the organization in technical discussions, consultant meetings, product presentations, and customer evaluations.
Track upcoming Data Centre projects from conceptualization through execution and identify business opportunities.
Develop market intelligence on industry trends, competition, consultant preferences, and customer requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely technical support, approvals, and customer responsiveness.
Build strategic relationships to strengthen the organization's position in the Data Centre segment.
Support the sales team in converting approved opportunities into business orders

Skills Required
Proven experience in the Data Centre industry is essential.
Experience with transformer manufacturers or suppliers of electrical capital equipment for Data Centres.
Experience engaging with consultants, EPC contractors, hyperscalers, and Data Centre developers.
Experience in obtaining vendor approvals and managing technical qualification processes.
