Role Overview
We are looking for a Software Tester Intern who is detail-oriented, analytical, and genuinely interested in software quality. You will work closely with our development and product teams to test applications, identify bugs, and ensure a smooth user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Perform manual testing of web applications and software features
Understand requirements and create test scenarios and test cases
Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
Perform functional, regression, smoke, and UI testing
Retest fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved
Validate different user flows and edge cases
Maintain test reports, documentation, and testing checklists
Work closely with developers and product teams to understand and resolve issues
Assist in improving QA processes and testing practices
These are standard responsibilities for entry-level QA roles, including test-case execution, defect tracking, regression testing, and collaboration with development teams.
Requirements
Basic understanding of software testing and QA concepts
Familiarity with SDLC/STLC is a plus
Good logical and analytical thinking
Strong attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication
Basic knowledge of Jira or any bug-tracking tool is a plus
Basic knowledge of API testing/Postman or automation tools such as Selenium is an added advantage
Freshers and final-year students are welcome

We are looking for someone with strong intent to learn, curiosity, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset. Prior experience is not mandatory the willingness to learn and take ownership matters more.
