Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Dahod or Vadodara. The Chartered Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including maintenance of books of accounts, general ledger reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements. Responsibilities include overseeing taxation matters, ensuring regulatory and statutory compliance, handling audits, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The role also involves analyzing financial data to provide insights for management decisions, monitoring cash flows, and supporting cost control initiatives. The Chartered Accountant will collaborate with internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory authorities to maintain accurate and timely financial reporting.
Qualifications
Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid membership in the relevant professional body.
Strong accounting and reporting skills, including experience with financial statement preparation, general ledger management, and month-end/year-end closing.
Knowledge of taxation, regulatory compliance, and statutory requirements applicable to businesses in India.
Experience in audit processes, internal controls, and risk management, with the ability to liaise effectively with external and internal auditors.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as strong skills in MS Excel and other financial analysis tools.
Ability to perform financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support business decisions.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
Prior experience in the automotive or retail sector is an advantage but not mandatory.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
