Retail Sales Intern – Fashion Store

We are looking for a confident, energetic and customer-focused Retail Sales Intern to join our fashion store in Arjan Garh. The intern will get hands-on exposure to fashion retail, customer handling, sales, product presentation and day-to-day store operations.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist customers visiting the store.
Understand customer requirements, preferences and budget.
Explain products, collections, sizes, pricing and offers.
Assist customers in selecting suitable products.
Support daily and monthly sales targets.
Drive upselling and cross-selling wherever relevant.
Build positive relationships with customers and encourage repeat visits.
Maintain proper product display, folding, arrangement and replenishment.
Assist with inventory checking, stock movement and stock reconciliation.
Support billing/POS operations and coordinate with the store team.
Maintain cleanliness, organisation and overall presentation of the store.
Handle basic customer queries, exchanges and service requests professionally.
Maintain customer details and assist with customer follow-ups when required.
Support promotional activities, new launches and in-store events.
Prepare basic daily sales/stock reports as required.
Follow all store SOPs, attendance and discipline guidelines.
Candidate Profile
Fresher or candidate with up to 1 year of experience.
Graduate / pursuing graduation in Retail Management, Fashion, Business Management or a related field preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident and comfortable interacting with customers.
Presentable, well-groomed and professional.
Genuine interest in fashion, styling and retail sales.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets is an advantage.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Punctual, responsible and target-oriented.
