Role Description The HR and Administration Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Dahej, responsible for overseeing all human resources and administrative functions for the manufacturing facility. This position manages end-to-end HR activities, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement. The role involves developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee benefits, handling personnel records, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards. The HR and Administration Head also oversees general administration such as facilities management, workplace safety coordination, vendor management, and support services for plant operations. Collaboration with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals and to foster a safe, inclusive, and high-performance culture is a key aspect of the role.
The role will also encompass Material inward/outward responsibilities as well and coordinating same with the relevant teams.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) with experience in HR Management and Personnel Management.
Ability to design, implement, and maintain HR Policies that support organizational objectives and compliance.
Knowledge of Employee Benefits programs, including administration, communication, and optimization.
Experience in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and labor law compliance.
Proven skills in administration, including facilities management and coordination of support services.
Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution abilities, with a collaborative working style.
Ability to manage site administration amongst other liaisoning responsiblities.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Prior experience in manufacturing or chemical industry environments is an advantage.
