Role Description The Owner at AI@BL will lead the overall strategy, direction, and operations of the initiative in a full-time, on-site role located in Tirunelveli. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting organizational goals, overseeing educational programming, and managing outreach efforts related to AI law, policy, and regulation. The role involves coordinating events, workshops, and collaborations with academic institutions, legal professionals, and industry partners. The Owner will develop content and resources, supervise project timelines, and ensure that activities align with the mission of AI@BL. This position also requires managing budgets, guiding volunteers or team members, and maintaining key stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and their legal, policy, and regulatory implications.
Experience in leadership or organizational management, including strategic planning and project oversight.
Ability to design and deliver educational programs, events, or workshops in academic or professional settings.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Background in law, public policy, technology management, or a related field is highly beneficial.
Demonstrated capacity to build partnerships and collaborate with academic, industry, and community stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
