Role Description The Human Resources Payroll Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Venkateshwar Hospital in Dwarka. This role oversees end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable laws and hospital policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining employee payroll records, coordinating attendance and leave data, managing statutory deductions and benefits, and resolving payroll-related queries. The role also supports HR operations by implementing HR policies, assisting with employee onboarding and exits, and partnering with finance on reconciliations and reports. The manager collaborates closely with HR leadership to improve payroll processes, enhance employee experience, and support a fair, transparent compensation framework.
Leave & Attendance Management
Execution of end to end payroll process (involves pay rate change, allowance change, LOP, verification of bank account and PAN number, OTP input, stop salary & stop salary release, etc.)
Full & Final settlement for separated employees, issuance of clearance form, initiation of FnF process post submission of completed clearance form by employee & sharing input advice with third party vendor.
Unit HR Dashboard/MIS/Attrition Analysis
Manage all tracker like C&P, Registration etc
Providing reliving letters & experience letters to the employees
Handling of attendance, reimbursement & medical insurance benefit related queries
Timely submission of all mandatory compliances - PF, ESI, Actuarial, etc
Ensure 100% accuracy in Payroll.
Experience: 10 + years in HR Payroll (Hospital exp)
Qualifications: MBA/PGD
Core competencies:
Strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, with experience handling core HR processes and documentation.
Knowledge of Employee Benefits and Employee Relations, including statutory compliances and grievance resolution.
Ability to interpret, implement, and maintain HR Policies, especially those related to compensation, leave, and attendance.
Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS tools, with solid skills in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Understanding of labor laws, taxation, and social security regulations relevant to hospital and healthcare settings.
Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field; professional HR or payroll certifications are an advantage.
Previous experience in payroll management, preferably in a hospital or large multi-shift organization, is highly desirable.
