Role Description The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will lead the design and development of electrical systems for pharmaceutical facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing electrical design concepts, load calculations, power distribution layouts, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and equipment specifications. The role involves coordinating with architecture, civil, HVAC, and MEP teams to integrate electrical designs seamlessly into turnkey projects, reviewing drawings, performing technical evaluations, and supporting installation and commissioning activities. The engineer will also review vendor proposals, provide technical guidance to junior engineers, and participate in site visits to resolve design issues and optimize system performance. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering for industrial and pharmaceutical projects.
Candidates should possess solid Design Engineering capabilities, including system planning, layout development, and equipment selection.
Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Electricity and Power Distribution, including load management and safety standards.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Significant experience in electrical design for industrial, pharmaceutical, or process plants, including clean room and HVAC-integrated projects.
Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, local regulations) and fire safety requirements.
Proficiency in design and drafting tools (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and MS Office for documentation and reports.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation, client interactions, and internal coordination.
