Our work involves the complete design process from conceptual development and spatial planning to detailed drawings, 3D visualization, material selection, site coordination, and execution. At Scaler Arch Studio, team members work closely with senior architects and designers, consultants, vendors, and clients, providing an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across different stages of a project and develop a strong understanding of both design and execution.
Role Description
We are looking for a full-time Junior Architect to join our team in North Delhi.
The Junior Architect will work closely on ongoing residential, commercial, hospitality, and interior projects. The role will involve both design development and technical execution, giving the candidate exposure to projects from concept stage through site execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing architectural and interior design concepts.
Prepare detailed 2D drawings, working drawings, construction drawings, and documentation.
Develop and modify 3D models and presentation drawings.
Prepare design presentations, material boards, and project documentation.
Assist in developing architectural details, furniture details, and construction details.
Coordinate drawings and design requirements with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Participate in site visits and monitor ongoing work to understand and document project progress.
Assist with material selection, finishes, and detailing as per the design intent.
Take measurements and prepare drawings based on existing site conditions.
Identify and resolve design and site-related issues in coordination with senior team members.
Maintain proper project files, drawings, revisions, and documentation.
Participate in design discussions, client meetings, and internal project reviews.
Ensure that drawings and deliverables are accurate and completed within the required timelines.
Qualifications & Skills
B.Arch degree from a recognized institution.
0–2 years of experience in an architecture/interior design firm; freshers with strong portfolios may also apply.
Good understanding of architectural planning, design, and construction detailing.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is required.
Knowledge of D5, Lumion, Photoshop, or similar visualization software will be an advantage.
Basic proficiency in MS Office and presentation preparation.
Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and construction details.
Good understanding of materials, finishes, and basic construction processes.
Strong design sense, visual understanding, and attention to detail.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work on multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
Willingness to learn and actively participate in site visits and project execution.
A strong portfolio demonstrating design ability and technical skills will be preferred.
