Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Delhi, India. The Sales Associate will support customers on the sales floor by understanding their needs, recommending suitable products, and providing accurate information on features, prices, and availability. Daily tasks include maintaining product displays, replenishing stock, ensuring cleanliness and organization in assigned areas, and following visual merchandising guidelines. The role involves processing sales transactions, handling basic customer inquiries and returns, and collaborating with colleagues to meet store sales and service targets. The Sales Associate will also follow safety and company policies, participate in team meetings, and share feedback to improve the overall customer experience.
Qualifications
Customer service and retail sales skills, including the ability to engage with customers, understand needs, and provide solutions.
Basic merchandising and store operations skills, such as organizing displays, replenishing inventory, and maintaining a neat, safe sales area.
Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and interact professionally with a diverse customer base.
Basic numeracy and POS skills to handle cash, card transactions, and simple record-keeping accurately.
Ability to work on-site in shifts, including weekends and holidays, with strong reliability and time management.
Previous experience in retail, customer-facing roles, or home furnishing is an advantage but not mandatory.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and learning new systems.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in retail or sales is beneficial.
