Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Technician role based in the Greater Jaipur Area. The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment used in chemical manufacturing operations. Day-to-day tasks include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, troubleshooting equipment faults, and replacing or adjusting parts to ensure smooth and safe operation. The role involves working closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime, maintain documentation for maintenance activities, and adhere to safety and compliance standards. The Mechanical Technician may also assist in equipment installation, calibration, and continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and general Maintenance for mechanical systems and machinery.
Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance to plan and execute scheduled servicing and inspections.
Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair to identify faults and restore equipment to proper working condition.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in industrial or chemical plant environments, with familiarity in safety and regulatory standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and standard operating procedures.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capability to work in shifts if required.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
