Korvik Technologies LLP is an engineering and design solutions company delivering a full range of Engineering & Architectural Millwork services, including CAD conversion, 3D modeling, 2D drafting, reverse engineering, structural detailing, and millwork/casework shop drawings for both domestic and international markets.
With continued growth, we are seeking a CAD Designer (AutoCAD) to join our team of designers and professionals. We have built a strong reputation for quality and service,
providing comprehensive joinery solutions for both commercial and residential sectors.
Position: CAD Designer (AutoCAD)
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings for items such as modular kitchens, wardrobes, banquette seating, wall cladding, doors (including fire-rated), paneling, ceilings, wooden counters, shelves, TV units, vanities, headboards, loose furniture, and more.
· Translate architectural/engineering sketches into precise shop drawings for manufacturing.
· Create scale plans and layouts for foundations, interiors, and structures using CAD software.
· Utilize advanced AutoCAD (2D/3D) features (dynamic blocks, attributes, sheet sets, Xrefs, constraints).
· Review and specify material finishes, wood joints, and manufacturing details, preparing Bills of Materials accordingly.
· Ensure drawings align with architectural plans and manufacturing standards for wood and metal joinery.
Skills Requirements
· Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
· Knowledge of SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor or similar software will be an advantage.
· Strong technical background with the ability to convert client requirements into manufacturing details.
· Knowledge of materials, finishes, and joinery manufacturing processes.
· Good understanding of architectural drawings and fabrication standards.
· Strong communication skills (written & verbal), teamwork, time management abilities.
· Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
· Practical joinery experience is a plus but not essential.
Experience & Qualification
· Experience: 1 to 3 years in furniture/joinery drafting.
· Qualification: Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
