Staff/Principal Product Designer

A fast-growing US insurance technology company is looking for a Staff/Principal Product Designer to join their Partnerships & Platform team from Bangalore.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role for a designer who enjoys solving complex product problems and influencing product strategy through thoughtful design. You'll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and business stakeholders to create seamless experiences for insurance agents, agencies, enterprise partners, and internal platform users.
You'll own significant product areas, contribute to strategic product decisions, and drive end-to-end design execution across products that directly impact business growth.
What You'll Do
Own end-to-end design for complex product experiences across the Partnerships & Platform ecosystem.
Design intuitive workflows for agent onboarding, quoting, applications, sales, underwriting, payments, partner integrations, and enterprise management.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Research, and Data teams to define product strategy and deliver impactful user experiences.
Translate complex business problems into simple, scalable, and user-centric solutions.
Use customer insights, research, and product data to validate design decisions.
Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and polished high-fidelity designs.
Drive design quality through strong interaction design, visual craft, and attention to detail.
Contribute to design systems and maintain consistency across products.
Present design rationale to stakeholders and influence product direction through clear storytelling.
Partner with cross-functional teams to continuously improve customer and business outcomes.
What We're Looking For
8–12+ years of Product Design (UX/Product Design) experience.
Strong experience designing complex B2B or B2B2C products.
Experience working with US companies, or strong motivation and readiness to operate in a US product culture
Experience solving workflow-heavy, enterprise-scale product challenges.
Strong interaction design, UX thinking, and visual design fundamentals.
Ability to simplify complex user journeys into intuitive experiences.
Experience working closely with Product and Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle.
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking, interaction design, and measurable business impact.
Experience with experimentation, growth, conversion optimization, or data-informed design is a plus.
Experience in FinTech, HealthTech, SaaS, Enterprise Software, or InsurTech is highly preferred.
