About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Content Writer – CA/Accounting Domain with a strong background in Chartered Accountancy, accounting, taxation, and financial services, preferably with prior experience working with a CPA or accounting firm.
The ideal candidate will combine strong domain expertise with excellent writing, editorial, research, and interpretation skills. This role will involve creating and reviewing high-quality accounting and finance content, collaborating with cross functional teams, and managing a small team of content professionals.
The candidate should be comfortable understanding complex accounting and tax concepts and translating them into clear,
accurate, engaging, and easy-to-understand content for a professional audience.
Key Responsibilities
-Create, edit, review, and proofread high-quality content related to accounting, taxation, audit, finance, and CPA-related topics.
-Research complex accounting and financial topics and convert technical information into clear and reader-friendly content.
-Ensure content is accurate, well-researched, factually correct, and aligned with industry standards.
-Review and improve content created by team members, ensuring consistency in quality, tone, grammar, structure, and technical accuracy.
-Interpret accounting, tax, and regulatory information and communicate key insights effectively.
-Work closely with SMEs, accounting professionals, marketing, product, learning, and other cross-functional teams to develop relevant content.
-Lead and manage a team of 3–5 content writers/reviewers, including task allocation, mentoring, quality monitoring, and performance feedback.
-Establish and maintain content standards, editorial guidelines, and review processes.
-Track content performance and use data and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
-Stay updated with developments in US accounting, taxation, audit, CPA practices, and financial regulations, as relevant to the business.
-Support the development of educational, professional, and thought-leadership content for CPAs and accounting professionals.
-Manage multiple content projects and ensure timely delivery without compromising quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
-CA / Chartered Accountant qualification or strong equivalent accounting/finance domain expertise.
-4–7 years of relevant experience in content writing, editing, research, or a similar role.
-Prior experience working with a CPA firm, public accounting firm, accounting outsourcing firm, or financial services organization is highly preferred.
-Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, audit, and financial concepts.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and business writing.
-Strong editorial, proofreading, research, and interpretation skills.
-Ability to understand complex technical concepts and simplify them without compromising accuracy.
-Proven experience in content creation and content review/editing.
-Experience managing or mentoring a team of 3–5 members.
-Strong stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration skills.
-Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
-Basic to intermediate data analysis and content performance analysis skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-Experience creating content for a US CPA / accounting professional audience.
-Knowledge of US GAAP, US taxation, audit, bookkeeping, or CPA firm operations.
-Experience in professional education, Continuing Professional Education (CPE), financial content, or accounting training.
-Familiarity with content analytics, SEO, CMS platforms, and AI-assisted content tools.
-Experience developing technical, educational, research-based, or thought-leadership content.
