Functional Revenue Analyst

Role Description The Functional Revenue Analyst is a full-time on-site role based in Hyderabad. This position is responsible for analyzing revenue streams, supporting revenue recognition processes, and ensuring accurate billing and financial reporting in line with company policies and applicable standards. Day-to-day activities include reviewing contracts and transactions, validating data in ERP and related systems, identifying discrepancies, and preparing reconciliations and analytical reports for leadership and stakeholders. The analyst collaborates with finance, accounting, and operations teams to enhance quote-to-cash workflows, improve controls, and support month-end and quarter-end close activities. The role also involves documenting processes, contributing to system enhancements, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends or variances.
Finance and accounting skills, including familiarity with revenue processes, general ledger concepts, and financial reporting.
Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and practices, ideally with exposure to relevant standards and compliance requirements.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings in a clear, structured manner.
Experience working with ERP or EBS/ERP cloud systems, especially in billing, quote-to-cash, or revenue modules.
Proficiency in spreadsheets and reporting tools for data analysis and reconciliation (e.g., Excel, BI tools).
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
