Apprentice HRBP
We have an opportunity for an Apprentice HRBP to join our People & Places (Human Resources) team in Bangalore, reporting to the Director HRBP. In this pivotal role, you will support experienced HR Business Partners in delivering people strategies, programs, and employee experience initiatives for our India and global teams. Collaborating closely with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Development, HR Operations) and business leaders, you will gain hands-on exposure to strategic HR, HR analytics, workforce planning, organizational development, and AI‑enabled HR tools, contributing to projects that improve employee experience, drive data‑driven decision making, and strengthen our culture.
Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do
Support HRBPs on people initiatives and employee experience programs for assigned client groups
Coordinate key HR processes including goal setting, performance management, talent reviews, and promotions
Prepare HR dashboards and reports using Oracle HCM, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI to summarize people metrics
Use AI‑enabled tools and HR analytics platforms to summarize insights and automate routine HR reporting
Analyze employee data (headcount, attrition, engagement) to identify patterns and draft recommendations for HRBPs
Partner with HR Operations on onboarding, internal transfers, offboarding, and employee lifecycle activities
Support employee engagement, recognition, and culture‑building activities including logistics and post‑event analysis
Assist in documenting HR policies, standard operating procedures, and process improvements
Participate in workforce planning by compiling headcount, pipeline, and skills data and updating org charts
Experiment with generative AI tools under HRBP guidance, applying sound judgment and data privacy standards
Be Prepared — What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in final year) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Commerce, or related discipline
0–2 years of experience in HR, internships, or campus projects (HRBP, HR Operations, or People Analytics exposure is a plus)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; comfort working with data, reports, and basic dashboards
Curiosity about HR analytics and digital HR tools, including interest in using AI responsibly to improve productivity
Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach
Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple tasks, and follow through in a fast‑paced, global environment
High level of professionalism, integrity, and respect for confidentiality and data privacy
Positive attitude with a growth mindset and enthusiasm for building a long‑term career in Human Resources
Be Successful — Your Path
First 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors (Blox Buddies), and map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work. Discuss and create short/long term goals.
Six Months:
Support routine HRBP activities with increasing independence across core HR programs
Build and maintain HR dashboards and standard reports for headcount, movement, and people metrics
Contribute to at least one engagement or culture initiative, from planning through post‑event analysis
Demonstrate ability to use Oracle HCM, collaboration tools, and at least one AI‑enabled or analytics tool
Establish trusted working relationships with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and People & Places colleagues
One Year:
Independently manage defined portions of HR cycles for assigned client groups
Provide clear, data‑backed insights on attrition, hiring, engagement, and organization health
Recommend at least one process improvement or automation using AI or analytics tools
Be recognized as a reliable, detail‑oriented partner with strong stakeholder management skills
Be considered for future opportunities within the HR function based on performance and business needs
