Role Description The Merchandising Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow. This role supports the merchandising team in managing product assortments, tracking inventory, and preparing collections for retail and client presentations. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with production and design teams, maintaining product data and pricing, assisting with visual merchandising and store displays, and gathering customer and sales feedback to inform future assortments. The Merchandising Assistant will also help prepare lookbooks, style guides, and basic reports on product performance, ensuring that the brand’s aesthetic and quality standards are consistently represented. Co-ordination with artisans, vendors, MBOs etc.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to engage thoughtfully with clients, artisans, and internal teams.
Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to clearly share product information, feedback, and merchandising updates.
Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to review sales data, track inventory, and support decisions on assortments and pricing.
Candidates should possess Sales awareness and basic retail understanding to support in-store activities and client interactions.
Attention to detail and an appreciation for luxury fashion and artisanal craft, especially Indian textiles and embroidery.
Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate in a fast-paced, design-focused environment.
Proficiency with spreadsheets or basic merchandising tools; prior experience in fashion, retail, or merchandising is an advantage.
Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
