Position: Embedded Silicon Validation Engineer (Pre/Post)
Experience: 5 to 8 Years
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities
Develop and debug embedded software, device drivers, and validation frameworks for pre- and post-silicon SoC platforms.
Build reusable software components for silicon bring-up and functional validation.
Work with SoC subsystems such as Camera, Display, GPU, Memory, and Security.
Develop low-level software for bare-metal and RTOS environments.
Support validation across emulation, FPGA, and post-silicon platforms.
Debug and optimize software on emulators, FPGA platforms, and silicon boards.
Collaborate with SoC architecture, RTL, hardware, and validation teams.
Develop software infrastructure to enable efficient silicon functional validation and debugging.
Analyze system-level issues involving boot flows, peripherals, drivers, and hardware/software interfaces.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, documentation, and technical discussions.
Key Skills
Strong experience in Embedded Software Development and Silicon Functional Validation.
Hands-on expertise in Embedded C and low-level software development.
Experience developing software frameworks for silicon bring-up/validation enablement.
Strong understanding of ARM architecture and SoC fundamentals.
Experience with Device Drivers and hardware peripherals.
Working knowledge of UART, I2C, SPI, eMMC, USB, I2S and other hardware interfaces.
Experience with Bare-Metal and RTOS environments.
Exposure to ZeBu, Palladium, or Veloce hardware emulation platforms.
Experience debugging embedded software on FPGA/emulation/silicon platforms.
Good understanding of SoC subsystems and hardware/software interaction.
