Role Description The Social Media Manager (Intern) will assist in planning, creating, and publishing content across various social media platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting posts and captions, supporting content calendars, helping optimize profiles and posts for reach and engagement, and monitoring basic performance metrics. The intern will collaborate with the team to brainstorm campaign ideas, maintain brand voice, and engage with online communities where needed. This is an internship role, on-site, located in Kolkata, offering practical exposure to agency-style social media management.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) for managing and growing brand presence online.
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills for clear, engaging, and brand-aligned content and interactions.
Candidates should possess skills in Content Strategy to support planning and organizing social media campaigns and calendars.
Basic understanding of major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) and current digital trends.
Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to follow brand guidelines.
Ability to work on-site in Kolkata and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Relevant coursework or prior project experience in marketing, communications, or digital media is an advantage.
