Job Description
The Functional Consultant will be the primary point of contact for customers on all functional requirements related to contract intelligence, legacy contract migration, and AI-driven analytics implementations. This role requires a strong understanding of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), data migration, and AI-powered contract analytics solutions. The consultant will work closely with customers to define business outcomes, configure solutions, improve extraction accuracy, and ensure successful adoption of Icertis AI/ML products. The primary goal is to earn customer trust by providing expert guidance, translating business requirements into scalable solutions, and delivering measurable business value throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Drive execution of Icertis AI/ML product implementations for enterprise customers in accordance with Icertis implementation methodology, within the agreed scope, schedule, and effort.
Lead discovery workshops to understand customer objectives, contract portfolios, data sources, business processes, and reporting requirements.
Conceptualise and design best-of-breed solutions that address customer business objectives through AI-powered contract intelligence and analytics.
Gather, document, and analyse functional requirements, use cases, business rules, and success criteria.
Configure Prompts and validate AI-driven extraction, classification, clustering, and analytics capabilities to meet customer expectations.
Collaborate with customers to define attributes, clauses, contract relationships, validation approaches, and migration acceptance criteria.
Execute functional testing, validation exercises, user acceptance testing, and remediation activities to improve overall solution accuracy.
Analyse large contract repositories and identify trends, risks, obligations, metadata, and business insights through AI-powered solutions.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Migration, Prompt Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Provide quality assurance and functional support across multiple customer engagements.
Conduct customer demonstrations, training workshops, knowledge transfer sessions, and go-live readiness activities.
Contribute to consulting capability development, reusable assets, implementation accelerators, and best practices within the Professional Services organisation.
Provide product feedback and implementation insights that help shape future product enhancements and roadmap priorities.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in enterprise software consulting, business analysis, CLM, procurement, legal technology, or related domains.
Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management, contract operations, or document-intensive business processes.
Experience facilitating customer workshops, gathering business requirements, and translating business needs into solution recommendations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage business and executive stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate across customer, product, and delivery teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering business outcomes.
Experience supporting software implementations, migrations, or transformation initiatives.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms.
Familiarity with contract migration, data quality, or business process transformation projects.
Knowledge of legal, procurement, sales, or compliance functions.
Experience working with global enterprise customers.
Consulting or customer success experience within SaaS or enterprise software organizations.
