Position Title: EX : MGR - Service Support – KTM Training
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Reports To: Mr. Nitin Tiple, Divisional Manager – Service Support
Role Overview:
KTM Network manpower training on KTM domestic and imported models.
Training content development before model launch.
Train the trainers for specified models/ training modules.
New Product Launch Preparedness
Special Tools need identification and development
Workshop Maintenance Awareness Audit to improve Training effectiveness.
Kaizen to improve training effectiveness.
On Job Training
Key Responsibilities:
Tracking of manpower requirement against the norm & trained manpower availability across the network.
Scheduling of Training batches as per the released training calendar.
Training Content Development: Create new training documents, web-based training courses, and skill contest modules to enhance learning.
Co-ordination with vendors for the development of new service special tools.
On-the-Job Trainings (OJT): Preparation of quarterly OJT module and conduct OJTs at High Customer complaint workshops.
D&T App Updates: Ensure perpetual training content updates in the D&T app.
Process Failure Reports/ Kaizen: Identification of repair errors and create PFRs.
Workshop MAA Audits: Conduct workshop audits to assess maintenance awareness and ensure compliance with training standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.
> 5 years of experience in Auto industry training & service operations.
Skills:
In-depth Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of motorcycle service, diagnostic procedures, repair processes, and usage of related tools and equipment.
Training & Development: Proven experience in designing and developing technical training content, conducting workshops, hands-on training sessions, and On-the-Job Trainings (OJT).
Analytical Ability: Competent in identifying root causes of service-related errors and recommending effective corrective and preventive measures.
Communication & Coordination: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for seamless collaboration with vendors, dealerships, and the broader service network.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Hindi to effectively deliver training sessions
