Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Overtime requirements

Position Summary:
The CNC Lathe Operator is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC Lathes to machine high-quality components according to engineering specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to make programming adjustments as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements.
Set up and secure fixtures, cutting tools, materials, and machine attachments, including mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers.
Adjust machining parameters such as speed, feed rate, coolant flow, and cutting depth/angle, or modify CNC programs as necessary.
Perform minor programming adjustments as needed (less than 50% of the time).
Ensure all required components (rolls, pins, cones, etc.) are available before starting production.
Initiate and monitor machine operations, troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.
Conduct first-part inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
Measure all pockets, notches, counterbores, and grooves of finished components to ensure accuracy.
Operate machines daily to produce high-quality components efficiently while maintaining safety and productivity standards.
Adhere to ISO guidelines and accurately complete all required computer system functions.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring machines are free from metal shavings and debris.
