Position Summary:
The Safety Analyst position ensures the facility maintains compliance with all applicable Health and Safety regulations, and internal Timken Policies. And is also responsible for improving OSHA Recordable and Lost Time injury rates below the established KPIs.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and manage an effective Health and Safety Management System that establishes a proactive approach to preventing occupational injuries and illnesses, and reducing ergonomic risks. Integrate elements of newly published ISO 45001 with Timken H&S Management System.
Leadership and promotion of safe behaviors and conditions – Leadership of plant Safety Team; manage deep-dive; improve quality of behavior observations in the BBS Program; coach employees to follow precautions; and use Timken Problem Solving tools to analyze data drive system changes.
