The Role
He/she will lead the supply planning either one or some for Semiconductor products, Display products, Functional coating products , Toll manufacture products or/and OEM products as supply network planner is responsible for production plan of finished goods and purchasing plan of raw materials as well as inventory planning and execution, including purchasing from vendors, inter-companies and toll manufacture.
There is accountability of all inventory management and confirming the related demand planning and planning the RM.
Inventory management is responsible for making sure that the inventory is well managed to the desired Safety Stock level. He/she will work with stakeholders to set replenishment strategies and minimum safety levels of inventory, taking into account the average lead times, demand uncertainty, customer requirements, production constraints and other parameters. The job involves frequent review of these parameters, demand changes, and inventory levels. Also, He/she must ensure to confirm warehouse capacity , logistics and product compliance are appropriate available.
in addition, the responsibilities include development of secure supply, business continuity planning, and supplier management etc. To accomplish these tasks, he/she is expected to interface with all stakeholders to understand challenges and work out solutions to support the fast-growing business in Electronic Industry. Additionally, he/she will also take care of some global planning topics and engage in strategic projects, transfer project for the core system SAP is currently underway global, and it may be participating in it as Key-user for planning module.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Demand Planning and Supply planning.
Raw materials planning and Purchase requisition creation.
Inventory management of finished goods, intermediate, raw materials and auxiliary materials.
Delivery date or supply adjustment with suppliers, procurement team or logistic teams, intercompany, etc, in daily or monthly.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and work together on a variety of supply-related issues globally.
Participate in projects as required.
Supporting process, documents and system related with supply chain.
Implement supplier management/evaluation/assessment.
Additional Explanation
Confirm purchase order or forecast changing from intercompany or customers on daily basis, response reviewing and change of production plan, supply schedule or purchase order of raw materials appropriately.
Review and identify Obsolete, Slow Moving, Blocked Stock, Excess Inventory and perform inventory write-off at local or redeploy inventory to other counties.
Develop and maintain Critical Supply Plan update for products below desired safe levels.
Provide PO forecast to vendor and toll manufacture via sourcing team to ensure our requirements were taken into their production planning.
Confirmation and review of import/export processes and other related laws and regulations.
Recommended Education/Work Experience:
Having sufficient knowledge and/or experience in semiconductor, Display or chemical industries.
Requires substantial professional experience of supply network planner (approximately 5 years or more as a guide).
Job Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Production, Quality Control / Assurance, and Logistics.
Having a power of action to promote the business to achieve the target.
