As a Proposals Consultant, you will support TransUnion's sales growth by managing and developing high-quality proposal responses (Request for Proposals: RFPs; Requests for Information: RFIs), due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), vendor forms, and other customer-facing documentation. You will partner with Sales, Account Management, Product, Marketing, Legal, Privacy, Security, and other subject matter experts to develop compelling, accurate, and compliant responses for prospects and clients. The position currently supports proposal response activities, vendor forms, RFIs, and maintenance of approved reusable content.
In addition to proposal support responsibilities, this role will play a key part in maintaining and enhancing the proposal content repository and leveraging response management tools such as Responsive (formerly RFPIO) to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality across response deliverables.
This role is under the general supervision of the Director of Bids & Proposals.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
Proposal Development & Writing
Develop, edit, and coordinate customer-facing responses for RFPs, RFIs, DDQs:
Draft and tailor executive summaries, cover letters, solution narratives, and value proposition content.
Ensure responses are accurate, compelling, customer-focused, and aligned with corporate messaging.
Collaborate with senior proposal managers and subject matter experts to develop differentiated responses that support competitive sales opportunities.
Apply proposal best practices to manage deadlines, deliverables, reviews, and submission requirements.
Content Management & Governance
Maintain and continuously improve reusable proposal content libraries and knowledge repositories.
Review, update, and retire content based on product, regulatory, legal, and corporate changes.
Partner with Product, Marketing, Legal, Information Security, Privacy, and other teams to ensure content accuracy and compliance.
Project & Process Management
Develop project plans and response schedules based on project complexity, deadlines, and resource availability; coordinate cross-functional reviews and stakeholder approvals.
Monitor milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items to ensure on-time completion of deliverables.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on proposal processes, content management, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 2–3 years of experience in Proposal writing, content management, customer-facing business documentation, and sales.
Strong business writing, editing, proofreading, and document management skills.
Experience managing multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat. Working knowledge of SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams, Salesforce.com, preferred. Experience with content management and response automation tools.
We’d Love to See:
Experience using Responsive (formerly RFPIO) or similar proposal automation and content (e.g. Qvidian, Loopio) management platforms as well as experience with corporate procurement portals (such as Ariba or Scout).
Knowledge of content governance frameworks and knowledge management practices.
Experience supporting vendor due diligence, privacy, security, compliance, or procurement questionnaires.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted writing and content development tools to improve proposal efficiency and response quality.
APMP certification or pursuit of certification is a plus.

Contribute to process improvement and content governance initiatives that support the broader Proposals function.
