Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Civil Engineer role based in Haveri. The Site Civil Engineer will oversee day-to-day construction activities, including supervision of site work, coordination with contractors and workers, and verification of work progress against plans and specifications. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, setting out and leveling, monitoring material usage and quality, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The role involves planning and sequencing activities, preparing daily reports, supporting quantity estimation, and communicating with project managers and clients on technical and scheduling issues. The Site Civil Engineer will also assist in resolving on-site engineering challenges and contribute to continuous improvement of construction methods and standards.
Qualifications
Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills for interpreting drawings, preparing basic designs, and ensuring technical accuracy.
Ability to work effectively as a Civil Engineer on site, coordinating teams and applying engineering principles to construction activities.
Planning skills for organizing work schedules, resource allocation, and sequencing of site operations.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure to ensure proper drainage and compliance with local requirements.
Bachelor’s diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Experience in site supervision, construction execution, or field engineering (internship or prior work experience preferred).
Familiarity with relevant codes, safety practices, and quality standards in civil construction.
Basic proficiency in engineering software, MS Office, and the use of surveying and measurement tools.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in dynamic site conditions.
