Role Description The Engineer at Lemon Tree Premier Hotel Jaipur is responsible for maintaining and repairing hotel infrastructure, equipment, and building systems to ensure safe and reliable operations. Daily tasks include routine inspections of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, responding to maintenance requests, and performing preventive maintenance according to schedules. The Engineer will coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed, keep accurate records of maintenance activities, and support compliance with safety and statutory requirements. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Jaipur, where on-site presence is required for operational and emergency tasks, while some planning, reporting, and coordination work can be performed from home.
Qualifications
Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic mechanical repairs.
Experience with preventive maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and using tools and equipment safely.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance documentation.
Good communication skills for coordinating with hotel teams, vendors, and service providers.
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a hotel operating environment.
Comfort with basic computer usage for logging work orders, maintenance reports, and email communication.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or related field) preferred; prior hotel or facility maintenance experience is an advantage.
Commitment to workplace safety, energy efficiency, and adherence to hotel policies and regulatory requirements.
