Role Description This full-time, on-site Structural Design Engineer role is based in the Pune Division. The Structural Design Engineer will perform structural analysis and design for buildings and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed design calculations, creating and reviewing CAD and AutoCAD drawings, coordinating with civil engineers and project managers, and resolving technical issues during design and construction. The role also involves reviewing project specifications, participating in design meetings, and supporting documentation for approvals and permitting. The engineer will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver accurate, constructible, and cost-effective structural solutions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Structural Analysis and Structural Engineering for designing safe and efficient structural systems.
Candidates should possess skills in Civil Engineering to understand site conditions, materials, and overall project requirements.
Candidates should possess skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and AutoCAD for preparing and reviewing detailed structural drawings and models.
Strong knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and design practices.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field.
Ability to interpret technical documents, prepare clear reports, and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Prior experience in structural design for buildings or infrastructure projects within an engineering consultancy or similar setting is beneficial.
