Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Lead with strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP, SAP HANA, CDS Views, OData, AMDP, RAP, and S/4HANA. The candidate will lead a team of ABAP developers, drive technical solution design, collaborate with functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of SAP development projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SAP ABAP developers.
Analyze business requirements and provide effective technical solutions.
Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP applications.
Work extensively on RICEF objects – Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and RAP.
Design and support custom developments in SAP S/4HANA.
Collaborate with functional consultants across FI, MM, SD, PP, PS, and other SAP modules.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
Support effort estimation, technical planning, project execution, and documentation.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Mandatory Skills
10+ years of strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP.
Strong expertise in:
ALV Reports
SmartForms / Adobe Forms
BDC, BAPI, RFC
User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements
ALE/IDocs
Module Pool Programming
Strong experience in SAP HANA development and optimization.
Hands-on experience with CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and Fiori integrations.
Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or support projects.
Proven experience in team handling, mentoring, and stakeholder management.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5.
Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Functional understanding of SAP FI, MM, SD, or PS modules.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Good to Have
SAP ABAP / S/4HANA certification.
Experience in client-facing roles and onsite coordination.
Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor junior team members.
Key Requirement
Candidates should have strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP, S/4HANA, CDS Views, OData, AMDP, SAP HANA optimization, along with proven team leadership and stakeholder management experience.
