Role Description The Academy Trainer role at Asian Paints India is a full-time, on-site position based in Madurai. The Academy Trainer will deliver structured training programs to painters, dealers, and other stakeholders on product knowledge, application techniques, and safety practices. The role involves designing training materials, conducting classroom and practical sessions, assessing participant performance, and providing constructive feedback. The Academy Trainer will collaborate with local sales and technical teams to align training content with business goals and ensure consistent quality standards. The position also includes maintaining training records, reporting outcomes, and continuously updating content based on new products, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
Experience in training, coaching, or teaching, preferably in paints, construction, or related industries.
Basic understanding of paint products, surface preparation, and application techniques, or willingness to learn quickly.
Good organizational and time-management skills to plan sessions, manage schedules, and maintain documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) for creating training materials and reports.
Ability to work on-site in Madurai, travel locally as needed, and conduct practical demonstrations.
Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in any discipline; technical or vocational qualifications in painting or construction are an advantage.
